Hi Loyal Retreat,

Just a quick email to update you on Kyla (yellow female).  She is a beautiful little puppy with an adorable face and lovely nature.  She is in her 4^th week of puppy preschool and already well ahead of her class with obedience training.  Lucky for us, like most Labs, she adores food so will do anything for it!  She loves people and is more than happy to say hello to anyone who is around.  We also take her to an off leash dog park most days and she loves her time playing with the other dogs.  Initially she was the littlest, but is rapidly growing (over 1kg last week!), so is gradually winning more “tumbles” with the other dogs.  She had her first swim last weekend after chasing a stick straight into a lake – no fear J

We hope all her brothers and sisters are doing as well as she is.  If interested, we are feeding her ‘Science Diet’ dried food only now and she seems to be doing well on this diet.  She also loves pig’s ears and liver treats when she is well behaved.  At the moment she is teething and we got a good tip from an owner at the dog park.  Freeze a wet tea towel or washer rolled up and give to them when their teeth are worrying them.  It provides a nice firm chew toy plus the coldness seems to soothe the gums.  Have fun!
